Mission
Meet Dr AQR
Dr. Abdulqadir Husain R, fondly known as Dr. AQR, is a board-certified orthodontist with over seven years of specialised experience in teeth and jaw alignment. After completing dental school in 2015, he pursued his passion for orthodontics with a master’s degree, graduating top of his class with clinical and academic excellence.
Known for his expert clinical diagnosis, Dr. AQR believes that understanding patients’ concerns is key to providing effective treatment. A proponent of digital orthodontics, he incorporates cutting-edge 3D technology routinely in his practice. His unique approach combines science and technology with artistry, aiming to achieve optimal facial harmony and functional alignment for every patient. His commitment to continuous learning ensures he remains at the forefront of orthodontic advancements.
Fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi, with working knowledge of Arabic and French, Dr. AQR’s multilingual abilities allow him to connect deeply with diverse patient groups and bridge cultural gaps in patient care.
Beyond orthodontics, he enjoys reading about exotic cars, business and geopolitics. A family man with a zest for adventure, his bucket list includes learning new sports like boxing and surfing, and some high-octane fun like cliff diving and bungee jumping.

- Published a chapter titled – “Surface modification of titanium orthodontic implants” in a special edition book titled – “Current concepts in dental implantology: from science to clinical research” (IntechOpen Ltd. UK) in November, 2021.
- Published a research article titled – “Effect of micro-osteoperforations (MOPs) on the rate of en-masse orthodontic tooth retraction – a randomized controlled trial” in the Journal of Orofacial Orthopedics in August, 2022.
- 1st prize for e-poster presentation titled – “White-Wash” at IDA Colgate Students Conference held at M.A. Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Pune on January 20, 2013.
- 2nd prize for paper presentation titled – “Probiotics – From ‘for life’ to a ‘better life’.” at IDSC, 2013 held at Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune on October 26 & 27, 2013.
- 2nd prize for e-poster presentation titled – “Constriction with Conviction” at IDSC, 2013 held at Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune on October 26 & 27, 2013.
- 2nd prize for paper presentation titled – “Anti-Antibiotics: Probiotics” at Youphoria 2014, held at Rural Dental College, Loni from September 25-27, 2014.
- 2nd prize in Dental Quiz at Youphoria 2014, held at Rural Dental College, Loni from September 25-27, 2014.
- Awarded the Best Speaker for the debate competition during the Organ Donation Campaign led by the Govt. of India, held at M.A. Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Pune on September 1, 2016.
